Main purpose: Used for synthesizing a range of pharmaceuticals, insecticides, fungicides, and other fine chemicals, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs, antithrombotic drugs, neutral and photochromic dyes, etc. It can also be used to manufacture dye intermediates such as phenol AS-G.
